Group running on it's own

Welcome to the group! It runs on it's own now. I have lost my passion for only ebooks and my little girl has grown up.

Continue to use the group. If it gets out of control, comment on my message board. Thanks.

THE S-WORD BY CHELSEA PITCHER

Written as a Cluedo game, I was immediately captived and I followed the signs to the final revelations.
A tough but fair enough vision of life in high school.
Very nice dive into friendship, the cruelty of life.

REBOOT BY AMY TINTERA
REBOOT VOL 1

It was a long time since I did not dive so instantly into a great dystopia.
I devoured this story, which is a combination of "Divergent" by Veronica Roth, "Delirium" by Lauren Oliver with peaks of "The Hunger Games" by Suzanne Collins all covered in an anti-hero characters with supernatural strenght.
Personally, I loved it! I wanted to read more...

GOLDEN BOY BY ABIGAIL TARTTELIN

Amazing, gripping and stunning!I did not expect such a heart-piercing story ...

Max is intersex. He has the same number of female and male chromosomes since his birth.
Max Walker touched me, moved me... I had great difficulty to lay out this book before reaching the last pages. I did not expect such a heart-piercing story ...

CLAIM ME BY J. KENNER
STARK TRILOGY VOL 2

I really liked the couple Stark / Fairchild in "Release Me" with this little side of "Indecent Proposal" mixed with "Fifty Shade of Grey" that made the first volume intriguing and enchanting. All the secrets held by the heros were also good materials for the sequel.

There are beautiful erotic scenes but not only. This sequel combines emotions, drama and suspense. A beautiful love story.

THE PRELUDE BY KASONNDRA LEIGH
A MUSICAL INTERLUDE VOL 1

Well written, lively and touching, this contemporary romance has a touch of suspense and anxiety that adds excitement to the story. The ending is full of twists and turns that are predictable but still great to read.

Kasonndra Leigh offers a compelling romance with interesting main and secondary characters.

MILA 2.0 BY DEBRA DRIZA

Following Mila's adventures, I found myself having flashes of different sort of movies.
In the first place, "DARYL" by Simon Wincer, where a young adopted boy learns of his extraordinary abilities that have an interest for the military. This is the first part of the story, when Mila peacefully live with her mother in the Minessota, and she discovers her android side.

Between espionage, combats, laboratory rats experiences, android and human feelings, the reader do not get bored.

What would you do if you were able to meet all those people from generations ago, who helped to make you who you are today? Not only to meet them, but experience their stories as they live them, first hand. Would you want to? To be able to share in the warmth of their love and laughter but also endure the pain and sorrow, which  often overshadowed the joys. What if you knew how many days they would have to walk the earth, who they would fall in love with, how many children they would have and how many they would bury much too soon. Would you want to go back?

If you already knew how their stories will end, what they will achieve in life but also the exact day they will die and how, what would you do? Would you  listen a little more closely to what they had to say?  Hold on a little longer to that unexpected warm hug? Drink in the sound of their voices and look a little deeper into their Technicolor eyes, which have always been only flat-gray in your families dusty old photo albums?

For Torie Mills the answer is yes, she will take it all and she will cherish every moment
