I am a first time non-fiction author from Michigan. I am a small town girl that had always had a dream to backpack the world. Seven years ago I sold my house, my car and gave away all of my worldly belongings to start my dream. 117 countries later and I am still "living the dream!" I met my Nigerian husband while traveling this amazing world and we married in Lagos, Nigeria almost one year ago and have since been traveling together and are now living in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
I will be back in the US in June to promote my book Travel: The Well-Known Secret.
Until then you can see sample stories and keep updated on my promotions at http://travelthewellknownsecret.wordpress.com or follow me on Twitter @MindiTravels
I am really loving this site, seems to be the most sincere group I have joined!\
Please keep in touch!

Permalink Reply by Maria Behar on April 9, 2011 at 6:31pm Hi, everyone! My name is Maria Behar, and I am a lover of everything fantastic and unusual, with the exception of the horror genre, which I detest. (I have to be honest about that, in case anyone ever asks me to review a novel in this genre. The answer will always be a firm "no".)
My blog is a mixture of book reviews, literary musings,Twilight-related articles and pictures, my own Phantom of the Opera and Twilight fan fiction, and other miscellaneous goodies. The genres I review are classic literature, paranormal romance, fantasy, Christian fiction, science fiction, and young adult. The only detective fiction I like is related to Sherlock Holmes, so I haven't mentioned this on my blog. I really should post some reviews about his adventures!
I dream of publishing my own fantasy-related books someday, and have made an attempt to start. I get easily discouraged, however, so I have to give myself some pep talks.... But it's not easy, since I have two jobs, one of which involves teaching ESOL part-time at night!
My husband and I live in Miami, Florida, and we complain about the humidity and the heat! I've never seen snow, but my husband, Daniel, has, and he tells me it's no picnic! So I guess we'll just have to stay indoors and crank up the A/C!! Lol.
My latest post focuses on the German-Swiss author, Hermann Hesse, winner of the 1946 Nobel Prize for Literature.
Come check out my blog at Twilight and Other Dreams!

My name is Sherri Hayes. I'm 34 years old and live in Ohio. In December 2010, my first novel Hidden Threat was published by TWCS publishing house. I love reading romance so when I sat down to write this first story it was obvious what I would be writing, romance. Currently I am preparing to start editing my second novel, Slave, which will be the first in my Finding Anna series out this summer. I have just set up a blog for my Finding Anna Series. I am hoping to make it an interactive resource for my readers.
When I'm not writing I'm usually found handling the marketing and customer relations for my husband's woodworking business. We have four cats who are spoilt much more than they probably should be since we do not have any children.
