I liked your blog. I read Will's War years ago by Janice Woods Windle. Her grandfather lived in the Hill Country of Texas (near San Antonio) during WWl. He was from Germany and they tried him in Dallas for treason. It has been years ago since I read it but is about her grandfather and because he was German (this area of Texas has a lot of German heritage) he was arrested. Janice's husband is a lawyer and they went through the transcripts of the trial. You might like to read this book. It was interesting.

Good luck on your book. I do genealogy and I agree with you about writing the family history (I need to do more). Leona
