Blog tour: The Blood Bargain by Macaela Reeves (May 5th-30th)

Reviews, Interviews and Spotlight request.

I am helping this author with a blog tour for her book. We would love to have you be a part of her tour!

Book Blurb:

When the world is torn apart by the living dead, the last traces of humanity regroup in the country only to be confronted with a new horror; vampires. Driven by the depletion of their food source, these vampires offer protection for the surviving humans in exchange for blood. An offer that is begrudgingly accepted, forcing the last humans on earth into an uneasy alliance with their predators. (This is the first book in a series)

From Flights to Flaw is Book one in a new middle grade series called Alyssa McCarthy’s Magical Missions by Sunayna Prasad. It is set to come out in July and the author and I would love to get some bloggers who love Middle Grade books to sign up for the blog tour. I am looking for reviews, interviews, character interviews, spotlights with excerpts (limited spots for these) I would really like to have more reviews than any of the others but I do understand that you as bloggers are extremely busy. The book will not be published until mid to late July, so the author does not have any print copies so this is a DIGITAL only blog tour. If you sign up to review keep in mind that I will only be able to get you a digital copy.

The tour will be from July 21st-August 3rd and you may sign up here:

Twelve-year-old Alyssa McCarthy can no longer stand the toughness of her uncle and wants a better life. But one day she discovers not only the existence of magic, but also a villain hunting her down. The villain uses magic and magical technology to kidnap Alyssa to the Fiji Islands. As much as she wants to go home, she has to face some dangerous challenges first. Not only that, the villain himself must also be defeated. Can Alyssa succeed, even with the help of her mentors?

If you would like to be a part of this blog tour then please sign up using the form given above. If you have any questions please send them to

Do any of you have a child who loves  books, then check out Annie's Special Day from

Annie's Special Day is a cute children's picture book about telling time. Each illustration has a  clock. It's great  for early readers and will make a great addition to your children's book collection.

Award-Winning Saga Has It All: Riveting Action And A Free 3D Comic App With Music By Celldweller

The Bane of Yoto, by Joshua Viola, is a trans-media experience that offers many ways to explore its rich storyline. From paperback or eBook to a free 3D interactive comic mobile app, this attention-grabbing novel was recently released by independent record label and music publisher FiXT – and promises to transport readers to a sinister world of cosmic drama and action they will never forget!

Formerly a professor of Game Art and Design, and now Art Director for Leviathan Games, Viola’s astounding vision is unmistakable in this perfect blend of science fiction and fantasy that comes together in a breakneck paced, action-packed plot where creatively original characters battle for their very existence in a brutal world.

Drawing rave reviews for its originality and vision, The Bane of Yoto has won awards from both the 2012 New York Book Festival and the 2012 Hollywood Book Festival, and is the first installment in a trilogy of science-fantasy novels by Joshua Viola.

…Some say the Arbitrators existed long before the world was born. Others believe their dark powers spun the fabric of time itself. They are mystery. But this is truth. After ages of formless existence, the Arbitrators craved physicality once more and in their search for a worthy body to inhabit, they destroyed Ajyin – home to the gentle, blue-fleshed Numah and the combative, carapaced Olokun. But not all was lost. General Vega and his vile warriors enslaved the remaining Numah and they relocated to Ajyin’s thriving moon, Neos.

Under the general’s imperious rule, the Numah toiled to extract minerals for a defensive barrier called the Aegis Shield that the general vowed would protect Neos from the Arbitrator’s return. But the Arbitrators’ hunger sparked a great fire – a blaze of revenge and revolution that soon found its home in the heart of a weak and cowardly Numah named Yoto, transforming him into a powerful and dangerous being beyond the general’s control. Will Yoto use his new-found power to free his people – or will he annihilate them? Once again, the Arbitrators’ dark presence haunts the world of Numah and Olokun.

Always looking to break new ground, FiXT (owned by cyber-rocker Klayton of Celldweller), recently entered the book publishing business with The Bane of Yoto. Staying with the book’s theme, Viola has merchandise available ranging from PlayStation 3 Dynamic Themes, Sculptures and T-shirts, to posters and more, that are available through FiXT.

Comment by John Emil Augustine on August 16, 2012 at 5:55pm

The realest romance you will read this fall!

"This rare and honest first-person account looks at 21st century romance, marriage with children, and divorce from a regular guy’s perspective. The colorful and addictive narrative delves deep into spousal abuse, the hopeless place in which a father finds himself during divorce, new beginnings, and his ordeal’s significance in retrospect. John Emil Augustine’s insight throughout, the result of his own tragedy and redemption, is nothing short of eloquence itself written in a very down-to-earth, casual way. This heart-jerking, wisdom-flecked story is a must read for lovers of fiction and non-fiction alike. John Emil Augustine has been a landscaper, musician, English professor, welder, forklift operator, and is the father of four boys. John writes and performs in his spare time. 'Love Seen from Hell' is his first novel."
