Looking for Women Writers and Artists

Looking for Women Writers and Artists

I will be featuring women writers and artists on my blog and am looking for people who want to participate in a Q & A.  Here is the list of questions:

  • From where do you draw inspiration?
  • What is the hardest thing about your creative process?
  • Do you work every day, or only when inspiration strikes?
  • How do you feel about the current art market/art climate?
  • If you could change one thing about the art world today, what would it be?
  • Talk a little bit about your current project and why you decide to embark on it.
  • How does being a woman impact your work?
  • If you had the chance to address a group of young girls, what would you say to inspire them?

If you would like to participate, I would love to hear from you. Thanks.

The previous link is a new Facebook group I started for those who want to showcase their work.  It's called 'Art Collectors' Gallery.'

Feel free to request an invite.

Destiny- I would love to participate in this! Is there criteria? Should I do ahead and submit the answers and then you'll decide on who makes it?

Hi Destiny!
I sent yesterday, via email, the answers to your questionnaire. I am not sure if you received them. Please let me know.
Thank you for your time!

I'd be happy to participate in your interviews on your blog. Just took a look and like it. Thanks for considering me.

Most people think of Astrology as a birth sign that defines them. I took a deeper interest in this; the mother of modern day ASTRONOMY in the early 1990s.

I dabble and enjoy the paths planets create. I am an amateur Astrologer who enjoys the books of this wonderful part of the predictive arts.

To celebrate the SOLAR ECLIPSE today Tuesday the 13th at 5:08 pm EST The Bridge of Deaths has invited Astrologer AMY VOLKERS to talk a bit about Astrology and herself.

  • I am sure our visitors would love to know how you became interested in astrology and at what age, can you share with us?

I came into this life wired to be interested in spiritual subjects though it was probably in junior high that I started finding and reading books on everything from auras to reincarnation (I did a term paper on reincarnation when I was in high school). Somewhere I have a 2 page ‘report’ on Astrology that I did for extra credit in a high school psychology class…but it wasn’t until 1987 when I started seriously studying Astrology after I met Karen McCoy.

  • How often do we experience solar eclipses? We cannot see them but the energies have an effect on us.

Eclipses happen about every 6 months and we can see them at times - when their path falls across the part of the earth that we happen to live on. Today’s Solar Eclipse in Scorpio will only be visible in northern Australia and the south Pacific (only the beginning of this eclipse occurs over land).

I just want to welcome new members to the group and encourage all of you who haven't to participate in the questionaire.  I think it is so important to recognize and support women in the arts.

I also encourage you to share your stories, your passions, and your ideas about how we can collectively increase awareness for the amazing work women are producing every day.

Looking forward to hearing from you and all the best,
