I'm getting ready to read Steve & Me by Terri Irwin. She was from my hometown, Eugene, Oregon. The books is about her life with "The Crocodile Hunter."
I am currently reading The Secret Daughter: A Story of a Mixed-Race Daughter and the Mother Who Gave Her Away by June Cross. I am about 3/4 through the book and it is very good.
I also just finished reading The Last Lecture by Randy Pausch. Excellent memoir.
I'm reading a classic I never knew about "Down These Mean Streets" It's fantastic, a book about growing up Puerto Rican in New York in the seventies. The dialect might put off some, but I find it to be wholly engaging.
I've been meaning to read The Last Lecture. I'm adding it to my list now...
