One of the best-ever animal related memoirs is being re-released in trade paperback and I highly recommend it - A Cat Named Darwin: Embracing the Bond Between Man and Pet by William Jordan. It is amazingly good & touching.

What Else But Home is a memoir of sorts, a true story about a man (Michael Rosen) who adopts 2 children, and then 5 more from the neighborhood, which is New York City. Here's a review -

Indie Bestseller – life behind the scenes – Is there Love on the Love Boat?

Working on a cruise ship. A dream job? This book tells all the behind the scenes details and makes you laugh!

Here is recent review from reader:

“I just excepted a job on a cruise ship and heard from a friend that this was a must read. I couldn't put it down and I read it a little over an afternoon. His stories of onboard shenanigans often made me laugh out loud. I often find myself quoting his book to friends and family. I can't wait to read it again.”

What is it like to live and work on a cruise ship? Micha Berman’s new cruise memoir – Permanent Passenger: My Life on a Cruise Ship takes you behind the scenes on a Carnival Cruise ship.

I am letting folks know about my new book - Permanent Passenger: My Life on a Cruise Ship which chronicles my wacky job search to get my dream job as Assistant Cruise Director and takes you on a journey you will not forget!

Go to www.permanentpassenger.com to see more about the book. Book is available online through Amazon or Lulu.com

There's a book being released in trade paperback tomorrow that looks quite good. It's The Geography of Love: A Memoir by Glenda Burgess (Broadway, $14.00). "...we tend to be defined by our great loves well after we've lived them."
