First Kill All the Lawyers by Sarah Shankman

A Samantha Adams Mystery #1

Mystery 122 pages ebook

Home again in Atlanta after years on the Left Coast, crime reporter Samantha Adams finds that the more things change, the more they remain the same. Beau, the boy who broke her heart eons earlier, is more handsome than ever and is now the Medical Examiner.

In the South, good manners (and keen protective instincts) prevent folks from saying what they mean, particularly about extramarital “slippin’ and slidin’.” And backwoods sheriffs still rule their fiefdoms with a strong hand and steady aim.

Sam finds herself deep in the kudzu once more when a lawyer, a family acquaintance, goes missing, then turns up dead. When the sheriff rules it an accident, Sam and Beau team up to deliver their own unique brand of justice.

How to Purchase First Kill All the Lawyers:

First Kill All the Lawyers is $5.99 at The Untreed Reads Store as well as at AmazonBarnes & Noble and Apple. You'll also find this Samantha Adams mystery at your local library through Overdrive, Baker & Taylor, Freading, Wheelers and Gardners.

From multi-million copy best-selling novelist Jerry Jenkins comes a compelling international thriller that conveys you from present-day Texas to a dank Roman dungeon in A.D. 67, then down the dusty roads of ancient Israel, Asia, and back to Rome.

Book One, The Death Wizard Chronicles.

Only a Death-Knower can die. And live again.

Only a Death-Knower can return from death. And remember.

Only a Death-Knower can tell the world what he's seen. Not all care to listen.

For a thousand years, none have rivaled the power of Torg, the Death-Knower wizard, as he ruled his people and kept peace on Triken.

Now a new threat has suddenly arisen. The evil sorcerer Invictus is greater even than Torg, and his greed and ambition threaten to engulf the land in eternal darkness. When Invictus imprisons Torg in a horrifying pit bored into the solid rock of a frozen mountain, the fate of Triken hangs in the balance.

Torg becomes freedom's final hope, but first he must die to earn the victory.

Jim Melvin is the author of The Death Wizard Chronicles, a six-book epic fantasy. He was an award-winning journalist at the St. Petersburg Times for twenty-five years. As a reporter, he specialized in science, nature, health and fitness, and he wrote about everything from childhood drowning to erupting volcanoes.
