Read my review of In a Celandine World at http://bonnielamer.blogspot.com/. A thought provoking book!
Comment by Gathering Books on July 13, 2011 at 8:54pm Ikea is not good enough for these three hipster bears - Steven Guarnaccia's version of Goldilocks and the Three Bears is faithful to the original in the narrative style/text - the twist is in the Bears' fashion sense with designer furniture and hippie clothing. Check out the avant-garde, modern, and atrociously expensive couches, chairs, beds. For our Fractured Fairytale theme this July and August.

Comment by Gathering Books on July 12, 2011 at 9:46am What if Sleeping Beauty was actually a Snoring Dragon? Read about a hearing-impaired Fairy, a princess who is much too perfect for her own good, and a Quince (also a Prince) who has made a difference in Snoring Beauty's world."Snoring Beauty" by Bruce Hale and Illustrated by Howard Fine. For GatheringBooks' Fractured Fairy tale theme this July and August.
