NEW Blog & Twitter Followers! 2013

The purpose of this Group is to help each other increase our BLOG, TWITTER, and other social media followers.  Anyone can join, but it's specifically designed for those who have less than 300 blog or twitter followers.  Since most groups regarding these topics are a few years old, I thought it would be useful to create a fresh new group.

Group Guidelines

To make this group work, each participant should do the following:

1.) List your Blog and Twitter info (if you have both) or other social media links.

2.) After submitting your info, you should browse the information of those provided before you and follow the blogs/twitter accounts of those whom you are interested in.  Remember, this group works through reciprocity!

3.) Leave a message on the other person's blog/twitter page to let them know that you have followed them.

4.) For new members: when you join this group you can feel free to send a group message to everyone to let them know your blog/twitter info, but please limit group emails to once a week.

***FRIENDLY REMINDER***: If posting non-social media information, look at the featured discussion section to determine if the information you want to convey belongs in one of the folders. Your post on the main comment wall may be removed if it should have been placed in the discussion forum.

#Choices by Ruchira Khanna reviewed by Vasudha Rao

She writes about immigrants & their values & hopes. She pens down their aspirations & their hard work in the United States of America .She writes in detail about the daily routine life .Though it is simply stated yet ,it gives us a peek into their daily lives. And makes us very empathetic.

I strive to follow everyone who follows me, though for some reason I have trouble finding the LIKE button on certain FB pages. Why is that?

‪#‎Meghna‬ by Sundari Venkatraman reviewed by Rubina Ramesh

This kind of Romance only Sundari Venkatraman can pull off. And what a dare! Her first promotion of the book took place with the words - Babes read this at your own risk. Now, who can resist that? If you are expecting to learn a lesson in life, or your "intellectuality" need to be confirmed or even if you are a bra burning feminist, then please don't pick up this book. It is NOT meant for you.

*the word 'intellectuality' dictionary says it exists, readers say it does not. Any idea why?

It’s been a week since my last post but my newest blog post is now live. I talked about what a business plan is, the difference between a plan and a book proposal, and what I’ve been doing as part of my business plan for my poetry chapbook “Can You Catch My Flow?” in regards to marketing and promotion. Come check it out and share your thoughts and book marketing and promotion experiences. Picture

Nilima Mohite reviews #Meghna by Sundari Venkatraman

The Warning like I said before. The matured Meghna & the Gentleman Rahul who knows better than to control himself even though he can have his way with his lady love. Reema bhabhi, Rehaan and Sasha, Rahul's father & his drama queen mom . All characters dance in my imagination like Meghna at her dance class. The lip-locks a plenty , charming ways of Rahul to woe & propose to his Wife, their teasing & provoking each other. The villains in the story (I am not telling you who they are  )

Book of the Week :(Recommended by Readers)
Only a Dream by Jazz Singh

Rhea is successful, accomplished and perfectly content in the comfortable little niche she has carved out for herself. She’s moved on from the heartbreak of her past, and hasn’t looked back in years. When Varun comes waltzing into her life again, however, Rhea is unprepared for the rush of memories that upset her neat little life. Nor is she able to push back her broken dreams, and learn to trust again.

Varun wants her back, but it looks like an uphill task, at best…

Check out my latest post. It briefly talks about promotions and business plans, with a great deal of focus on the importance of the word of mouth. More in depth content about promotions and business plans is expected for the next post. Come and share your thoughts and experiences on what you're doing to or how you promoted your book(s).
