Hello,
My name is Mareena McGirr and I host Emeraldfire's Bookmark at http://emeraldfiresbookmark.blogspot.com.
I was born in Belfast, Northern Ireland, but moved to America when I was five & a half. My parents owned two Irish restaurants - one in Albany, New York & the other in Dennisport, Cape Cod. I host an Irish radio program with my mom, Mary, also an avid reader, in upstate New York called "Proud to be Irish". I'm an avid reader, love history, writing, listening to music & arts & crafts. I also love to laugh & meet new people. I'm cheerfully owned by an 14 year old cat named Smokey.

Welcome, Mareena. :-) So happy that you've joined us here.
Permalink Reply by Carole Gill on December 13, 2010 at 4:12pm Hello and thanks for inviting me!
I am Carole Gill, a former New Yorker who somehow gravitated over to England and married over here. I am not there for the weather if you know what i mean!
I write horror and sci fi and am published. My gothic romance novel (verrrrrrrrrrrry dark horror) is due out any day now! It's entitled, The House On Blackstone Moor. It's the kind of book you want to curl up with, with a nice cup of tea. The themes are vampirism, madness, obsession and devil worship in 19th Century England. No? Okay, maybe not curl up and perhaps a stronger beverage might be in order!
anyway delighted to be here!

This week's blog post is about my hero's immortal enemy, Satan's servant.

Hi Carole,
My pleasure! Thank you for joining us. :-)

Permalink Reply by Karen Keilt on November 29, 2011 at 6:30pm You might enjoy my book The Parrot's Perch. It has received many 5 star reviews on Amazon.com and is a real life thriller, with some historical information thrown in as well.

My young adult fantasy "The Starlight Prince" became my first published book in 2010 but last years I have devoted myself to writing historical and contemporary love dramas "The Last Secrets of The Ancient Island", "A Love In A Time of Wars", they will be published in one book "Affairs of the Heart" in 2011. I consider myself a writer by soul because, although I have been working as a Recruiter in the field of Human Resources for years, at home in Sofia, my native city in the heart of Balkan peninsula, in my free time, history and writing are the important passions of my life.
Welcome on the seat next to me and feel my stories :)))))
