Fantasy Novel For Review

Aure The Topaz
By Rich Feitelberg
Publisher: Aziza Publishing
ISBN: 978-0988176768
Pages: 372
Genre: Fantasy

An ancient and powerful magic gem has been found and is wanted by necromancers to further their evil schemes. Can Evan Pierce, a demon hunter and priest of St. Michael, protect the gem and keep the necromancers from wreaking havoc in the kingdom?

Twenty-five years ago, invaders captured Andropolis, the capital of Thalacia, and ended the rule of King Leonard. According to prophecy, the invaders can be ousted and the royal line restored only by wielding the Aglaril, seven elven gems of unprecedented power. However, the circlet in which the gems were set was destroyed millennia ago and the gems lost. At least, that was the common belief. Evan Pierce, a priest of St. Michael, discovers one of the gems belongs to the town jeweler. He also uncovers a plot to steal the gem and does what he can to keep it safe. But it is not enough. Now, Evan must recover the gem by relying on a motley group of adventurers for help. Together, they must overcome a series of obstacles or humanity’s one hope for restoring the royal line will be lost forever.

Shattered Blue by Lauren Bird Horowitz

And Bang! The last scenes are full of revelations.
Nothing is black and white. Got really frustrated with the end because I was ready to give up on this love triangle when the author has succeeded in hooking me again. So Grrrrr!
Don't know if I like it or not. Will need to read the sequel to make up my mind. ;-)
Nicely done by the author!

. Thrillers by Marshall Chamberlain are unique—jam-packed with suspense, mystery, and excitement, sprinkled with sci-fi and paranormal, and run like raging rivers. If you have enjoyed Indiana Jones, or books by Nelson DeMille, or James Rollin’s “Sigma Force,” you will love Chamberlain’s techno-thrillers!

Paranormal Romance

Switching Hour
Magic and Mayhem, Book One
By Robyn Peterman
Published: September 2015
ISBN: 978-1941377024 (print)
ISBN: 978-1941377031 (ebook)
Pages: 220
Genre: Paranormal Romance

Released from the magic pokey and paroled with limited power is enough to make any witch grumpy. However, if you throw in a recently resurrected cat, a lime-green Kia and a sexy egotistical werewolf, it's enough to make a gal fly off the edge.

Not to mention a mission...with no freaking directions.

So here I sit in Asscrack, West Virginia trying to figure out how to complete my mysterious mission before All Hallows Eve when I’ll get turned into a mortal. The animals in the area are convinced I'm the Shifter Whisperer (whatever the hell that is) and the hotter-than- asphalt-in-August werewolf thinks I'm his mate. Now apparently I'm slated to save a bunch of hairy freaks of nature?

If they think I'm the right witch for the job, they've swallowed some bad brew.
