Voting party: Get "helpful" votes for your Amazon reviews

ANOTHER UPDATE (4/17/13): Voting reviews as helpful or not seems to be becoming an important part of the Amazon algorithm. If you have 5-star reviews it might be helpful to have a lot of people vote it "helpful." 1-star and negative reviews might be "not helpful." Commenting on reviews is also helpful. At the bottom of the reviews there's a review feedback box now, it might be helpful to put something in there.

So.... Let's have a voting party and vote each other reviews helpful or not helpful. Let's give it a go and see if there's a noticeable impact.

WHAT WE NEED TO DO:

Post the links to your Amazon book(s). Vote for the 5 authors above your post.

You are not expected to vote for every author above you, it's just humanly impossible.

Vote: At the bottom of each review Amazon asks "Was this review helpful to you?" Click yes for good reviews. (Not sure if it's better to click no for negative reviews or just ignore them.)

Comment: At the bottom of each review Amazon posts a "comment" link. Leave a quick comment for one or two reviews.

Like the author: Yes, there still is a "like" button on the author page, Click it.

Come back and let us know what 5 authors you voted for.

Paste your link(s) to every post you make. The most active posters will probably get the most votes, so come back often.

Suggestions:

If an author has a boatload of reviews try to hit up to 20 reviews. If an author has more than one book, do up to 20 reviews for at least one book. Leave a couple of comments. We are all busy and don't expect anyone to spend huge amounts of time doing this. A little work from a large amount of people should do the trick!
