Hi all!

We author should stick together and help promote one another's books. This is a simple way to get traffic to look at your book on Amazon and for you to help out other authors. This is not limited to  published authors through a publishing house but also for self-published authors that their books are available on Amazon. It only takes 5 minutes to do on a Wednesday. Your book will be tagged by the authors so that your book shows up in the Amazon searches more often and who doesn't want their book to show up in online searches as a possibility? I'm doing it this coming Wednesday, September 26th and I've talked to other authors who have said this was a great boost for them and they started selling more books. So, why not give it a shot? You can contact me for more information at thevampirequeen1 (at) gmail (dot) com. Also, if you'd like to follow me on my blog the address is http://www.thevampirequeen1.blogspot.com (for some reason book blogs won't provide my address as a like so you'll have to cut and paste it into the browser-sorry). I follow back all who follow me and it's a great way to get communications together for authors and readers alike. Hope to see you here on my discussion board!

Hi Jodie - I've been an indie author since 2007 and just released my second novel (Ash: Return Of The Beast) a few months ago. My experience (as well as the experience of countless other authors) has been that what you're proposing (amazon tagging) is not just a good way to get increased exposure it's one of the best ways. Many authors don't realize how important those tag numbers really are. They helped propel my first novel to "best-seller" status for over 57 weeks. I'm hoping for the same with my current novel.

I'll be happy to participate on Wed. Sept. 26th. I'll contact you via your email address.

"A page turner... dragging you into a world where few authors have successfully gone... to the Gates of Hell and back! The thrill ride alone is worth the purchase." - Valerie Bowen, author of the Mind of a Madman series

"I loved how [the author] pulled me into the world of demons, devils and the rock stars on their path to revenge. What happened to that “rock star” as a boy horrifies me, but what happens to him because of that horrifies me even more. It is a spine-chilling tale that truly belongs in any horror reader’s collection. The character creation is fabulous." - Christina M. Condy, goodreads.com reviewer

"Wow...Dan Brown fans watch out! It's gripping, tantalizing... I was hooked by the end of the first chapter and literally unwilling to put it down!" - Nikki, book blogger at Close Encounters With The Night Kind

"A good break after all the boy-meets-girl plots. Good writing... interesting concepts... a riddle and some clues to solve... I was reminded of Dennis Lehane. Very different from other horror fiction stories... even gave the whole Necronomicon tale a new spin." - Cyma R. Kahn, goodreads.com reviewer

"A riveting occult crime thriller. I couldn't put it down." - Rai Aren, author of Secret Of The Sands

"A close-the-drapes-and-hang-onto-your-seat-read. Highly recommend it." - Meredith Wright Hutchins, attorney, Olympia, WA

"An ending you will never see coming! Highly recommended!" - Lila L. Pinord, author of In Time, Min's Monster, and Skye Dancer

"Filled with magick... at times drawing one into the evil." - Ellen In Atlanta, amazon.com reviewer

"Plenty of atmosphere and a compelling narrative. A worthwhile roller-coaster ride." - Bob Freeman, author of The Descendant

Great post! I'm hoping this method really does direct more traffic to my/our amazon webpages. Would you like to be part of it? Please let me know.

Count me in too.  I've two books out on Amazon and have read how important the tags are.  And the 'like's.  Even a small group of us can help each other out.

Great. I'll get you more information in the next week. Thanks! Please feel free to join me on my blog and I'll do the same for you :)

Hi Jodie, I have a question about the tags. Does it help to have a bunch of different tags. Should I change them ofter for more key words? If we use the same 13 tagged key words and all agree with them does that make those key words stick out further then if there was just one person agreeing?

Here's my list of books- http://www.amazon.com/-/e/B00571NY5A Here's my blog http://www.lockdownpublishing.com We can interview each other if you want. Here's my email rollcallthebook@gmail.com

Hey Jodie. This is a wonderful idea. I've love to have my novel, 'To be Maria' tagged because currently it has no tags on Amazon.com. I'll send along an email with more details soon.

Now following you under my blog's name--De's Stories.

Count me in! I have three books out on Amazon and the fourth one will be released November 1.

I'd love to participate! Does it matter that my book is a different genre, though? (I'm finding everything related to promotion so confusing!). Thanks!

I am willing to try it.  I am the author of Love Child and I can use some help more directing more traffic to it.  I will gladly follow your blog for I do have one too.  Thanks for helping.
