Hi Ms. Schwartz,

I think your cover IS GREAT! It will scream -"LOOK AT ME" from every bookstore's shelves. It is also a very important topic. I doubt there is any family in the United States that has not been affected by Bi-polar Disorder. I don't know about my own family for certain, but I have two friends (one famale, one male) who are afflicted with this disorder, and they are really intelligent, acomplished, warm, friendly people who have learned to deal with this with medication and deep thought. I would feel a loss not having met and known them. I can't wait to get your book. I will then get copies for my friends, I believe they will enjoy reading your book.

I agree, David. This is a very important topic. I wanted to write a book that would appeal to everyone -- even those who know nothing about mental illness, who, when they hear the word "mentally Ill", think only of that guy sensationalized in the news who chopped up his mom or those poor mumbling street-people; and NOT of the more likely: neighbor or friend or co-worker that suffers everyday from these illnesses. These are very real biological diseases, affecting countless individuals either directly or indirectly, and yet it’s not something we, as a population, understand or talk about. The first step is to decrease the stigma and discrimination; second step is a cure!

Okay! Time to step off the soap box! Thank you for your kind words regarding my novel and congratulations on your own literary success! I will look for your books!
As a book cover designer myself, I think the overall concept is excellent. My only problem with it is purely from a design standpoint: I think the title and subtitle should be larger. The title is clever and deserves more space. The subtitle, in this case, is almost more important than the title itself. It's the real reason someone would be motivated to actually reach out and pick this particular book from the shelf.

But, again, the overall concept is excellent. Good luck with it!

Attention-Grabbing, Eye-Popping Book Covers

Yeah, Gary... I've already requested that they increase the text size once. And they did. A little. The final design is up to them and I think on the book it will be okay. The books a lot bigger!

Cool design covers!
The cover is so eye catching! I have also written a book (children's)about a child with a physical disability. It is called "The Bravest Boy I Ever Knew". My book is about a boy named Michael who tells about his best friend who is disabled. I wanted to show children and adults that even though someone has a disability they can still have the same likes, dislikes, talents, and interests as them. It is published by Tate Publishing Enterprises. I think "normal' people need to know about issues that affect some of us and the people we love or loved. Congrats to you!!!
Congrats to you, Lisa! I hope your book is selling well. It's great when we can combine entertainment with eliciting empathy and education.
