Not written like a typical military historical book, this is a story based on the actual events that occurred to start the War on Terror. The reader is brought along from the very beginning and watches the entire story unfold before their eyes from the attacks of September 11^th all the way through the dramatic and exciting conclusion of the assault on Kabul.

When asked why this book is different than other historical military books about Afghanistan, Zastrow says, “It’s not your typical hubristic story of ‘look how cool I am’. It’s a real story about real men doing what they get paid to do. A bunch of jackasses who are good at their jobs and who made the best of the situations they were put in. It just so happens these jackasses were called to do their jobs at a pretty significant time in American history, and they did it very well.”

Excerpt from "Murder in Silence"
I tossed and turned, dreaming of John Wayne riding over the Brooklyn Bridge. Then I saw a dark shadow thrown up on the side of a building. I couldn’t quite make out what it was … I could see its mouth opening and closing, but there was no sound, only silence. As I watched, it began to fade and blur, and all I could see of it were the eyes staring at me. Then it app...eared to change, from two legs to four, and back again. Then the silence was broken by the sound of a bugle in the background, the US Cavalry once again coming to the rescue, but whom they rescued I could not say.

My book is called Prolegomena To The Space Exile Of The Jews. The subtitle is Or: The Matriarchy/Temple Nexus. Non-fiction.
