I'm happy to report that Trueblood's Plight was released one week early. It's available on Amazon as a paperback and Kindle as well as on Smashwords to download. I'm still waiting to hear back from B&N, but Nook should be up within a few days.

Thirty years have passed since the clan’s flight from Tesmar, their beloved gryphon city. Three decades spent searching for safer shores, a place to repopulate and for some, to bury the truth of an age-old prophecy.

Until now.

Ava always knew she was different, from her pale plumage to her silver eyes, but being a Trueblood—a giphen who can use all forms of magic—takes ‘special’ to a whole new level. With overprotective elders and the enemy advancing from the north, Ava struggles to balance her time on and off the battlefield.

But when numerous attempts are made on her life—an attack on the clan, a rift storm and a mage controlling the minds of her friends from afar—Ava fears there’s another just like her, weakened and magic starved,  who’ll stop at nothing to use her powers as his own. She’ll have to hone her skills and exhaust her reserves close to death if she’s to go against him, even if it means forming a dangerous alliance with her enemy.

Based on a true story.

Keen to expand her portfolio, Danielle is delighted by a request to breathe life back into the Victorian Mansion that handsome Scott Jordache is renovating.
Her parents, meanwhile, have organised a surprise Caribbean cruise to give her a much-needed break.

Danielle sets sail only to discover Scott aboard the same ship, but mysteriously travelling under a pseudonym. Intrigued, she feels torn between mistrust and being drawn in by his charm.

Should she let herself fall for Scott or return to the security of the man she left at home?

Win copy of 'Oginalii is Cherokee for My Friend Like Horse is to My...

This book and accompanying novel, 'Black Purse', are now in all NC's state capital libraries.

Oginalii is a Young Adult Short Story that pulls in your heart as you leave the asphalt for dusty rural roads and smelly farm land. Exilee Sheffield is a tomboy who recently lost her mother and deals with loneliness and grieving in a most unique manner. Anyone want to watch a pony-show with a cat on the back, featuring a three-legged buffalo, all led by a hyper terrier?

Exilee doesn't. She wants to do it! And she will. Exilee wants to do anything except learn piano and as Auntie Bell says, "Learn some manners." Until Exilee learns Auntie Bell just might be her new best friend, if she'll let her.
