So since we're all waiting impatiently, what are some of the books you are thinking of reading for the readathon?? I'm thinking of:

Finishing Journey to the Center of the Earth by Jules Verne (almost there!)

Reading at least some of:

Working Like a Dog by Gena K. Gorrell
Stop Clutter From Stealing Your Life by Mike Nelson
A Firm Place to Stand by Marja Bergen
Leslie's Journal by Allan Stratton
Dear Toni by Cyndi Sand-Eveland

and if I need something lighter:

Months and Seasons by Christopher Meeks

I won't get much reading time, but I do want to try to finish Frankenstein during Carl's mini-challenge.

Hex Appeal by Linda Wisdom
Jinx by Jennifer Estep

I made up a list earlier this week, but I'm already rethinking it. I stopped by the library today and picked up Youth by J.M. Coetzee, but didn't get 2 other books from my list that I had planned, so I'm trying to rush and pick out replacements. I want to have my choices made and be ready to go first thing!

I'm sure my list will be changing during the day depending on what keeps my interest. As for right now, I have the following:

Sex Fantasies for Women by Women by List Sussman
A Long Way Down by Nick Hornby
The Other Woman by Jane Green
Where or When by Anita Shreve
Enticing by Lori Foster
Navy Husband by Debbie Macomber
Lost and Found by Jacqueline Sheehan
It by Stephen King (for the RIP III Challenge)

Now, I don't expect to finish all these, of course. These are just the few I picked to weedle through during the 24 hours. Like I said before, it's always subject to change.

Let me know how you like the Sex Fantasies book. Sounds interesting.

i'm going to try to use the read-a-thon to make some progress toward finishing some of the challenges i've got going. among the books i think i'll work on are these:

Teach with Your Heart by Erin Gruwell
Buckingham Palace Gardens by Anne Perry
The Eyre Affair by Jasper Fforde
In Her Shoes by Jennifer Weiner
The Mercy Rule by Perri Klass

i have two graphic novels lined up too, so i can feel like i'm making some quick progress:

To Dance by Siena Cherson Siegel
Janes in Love by Cecil Castellucci

i'm thinking i might make a run for the library if i realize i need some light YA reading to get me through.
