If You Could Talk With Any Author, Who Would it Be?

Have you ever just wanted to talk with your favorite living author? Who would it be and what would you ask?

If you leave a suggestion, then your wish is my demand.

I will try my hardest to make every request happen and track the progress made, i.e. the % we get and the % we don't.

I will post the interviews on the web show Author Feast.

New interviews will air every Tuesday.

Yvonne, Julia,

Love the suggestions. These two are hard to get in touch with, but as always I will give it a shot and keep you posted.

If I could talk to an author, I would talk with Edgar Allen Poe. Simply because I wonder if he was a bit deranged as his writing suggest. If I could talk to a current author it would be James Patterson, simply because I like his style, his plot line, and to get his opinion on my stuff.

This is a really hard question for me, there are so many Authors I would like to talk to, alive or dead.

Past: Virginia Woolfe

Present: Neil Gaiman

I really admire both authors and I think they have amazing talent, "A Room of One's Own" is one of my favourite books.

CHEERS to you on booking Mark Salzman!

I'll be watching... I don't have specific questions, but want to tell Mark that as a teacher, I shared IRON & SILK with colleagues and also suggested it as a book club read and everyone enjoyed. Mark gave us a lot to discuss about the commonalties of diverse cultures. I fell in love with the Chinese people.

An interview with Mark Salzman? That's great news.

Also, his wife won an Academy Award. I had no idea.

Good news Bette, Stephen,

Mark is onboard for an interview. I'll let you know once it's happened, and when it will be live. Send over any questions you'd like to ask him. :)
