Welcome to the Paranormal Romance Writers
The paranormal genre has recently exploded, with a multitude of movies, television shows and books. With the market ripe for the picking, writing a paranormal novel is a tempting idea. However, with the multitude of books already available and more on the way, it is important to create a novel that stands apart from the rest.
With the Twilight series, the Anita Blake books, the Sookie Stackhouse novels and many other recent paranormal works of fiction, it may seem like the genre is over-done. The same could be said about novels about WWII or mother-daughter relations. What saves a novel is its characters. If the reader finds your character to be a weaker Sookie Stackhouse, he or she may keep reading, but probably won't come back for round two. Make sure each character is fully him or herself, with history, motivations, beliefs, faults and strengths. You can write the 100th story about vampires of this year, but if your characters pull the reader in, you will have a strong fan-base.

Looking for Readers and Reviewers:

**New Young Adult Paranormal Romance Novel**
Seven Seeds of Summer follows the story of Summer, a college art student who has grown up in a house full of Greek mythology and legends. Summer grew up with a love for the darkest of all Gods: Hades, which caused tension between her and her mother. Summer comes home to Point Judith, Rhode Island, to find a mysterious figure on their family beach. The figure comes to her with questions about a familiar myth of her childhood: of Persephone and Hades. He proceeds to tell her of a new version of the story with a different ending that Summer never knew; an ending that includes herself. A trip to Greece leads to tragic twists, leaving Summer in the arms of the strange figure whom she had met before. He takes her on a whirlwind through the busy streets of Athens, to the lowest point of Greece where his lair awaits: The Underworld. Determined to find out the secret of herself and her piece in the story, Summer goes with him, and tries to make herself at home in his world. Summer has to decide to follow her heart or follow the same footsteps of the mysterious woman in her past life.

Available now as an Ebook, and will be available as paper-back on June 3rd, 2014.

The Angel’s Covenant

Lynn Landes

Chosen as the Keeper of Humanity I guide dying, and lost spirits home.

In the quiet moments, I hear the whispered question, “Are you Shadow or are you Light?”

Once I thought I knew the answer to that question. Now as I sit watching over this six-year-old girl, keeping the demons at bay, I wonder will I ever know the answer.

The Shadows are thick today, she thinks as she walks the halls looking for the brilliant flash. A silver glow from a room pulls her closer, diverting her from her quest. Walking into room 418, she finds Serena, and understands why she is here.

Her ragged breathing tells Elina it will not be much longer. The cancer ravaged her little body, the pain too much for any child to bear. Her family surrounds her, as they wait for her to pass, praying for a miracle. Elina sits and guards her, knowing the demons will devour the sorrow in this room and steal her pure spirit.
