Genese Bryson is a goody-two-shoes, bible reading, prayer reciting teen that has yet to leave the nest. One afternoon while begrudgingly performing her weekly chore of cleaning down the church she is mowed down by a half dead bloody and beaten man who is on the run from his attackers.
... As only a good christian would do she hides this man not knowing the havoc he would wreck on her calm peaceful life. Follow Tayvanna, Finesse and Laquisha as they struggle with life on the streets and find themselves struggling to answer these same questions.
“Charge that to the game” is the jaw dropping first book in its series with heart wrenching stories on three main characters that find themselves in impossible situations. We follow Tayvanna as she struggles to find out who she is and where life will lead her. Michelle Robinson was born and raised in Oakland, CA. Oakland’s rich culture has laid the fabric for this story. She’s been doing hair for two decades. As a hairstylist, it’s safe to say she has also served as a therapist to her clients. She has heard and witnessed it all right behind her styling chair. From her experiences, she’s given advice to many and has watched people’s lives transition. With this driving force, she has finally penned her first novel.
