Wed. May 27, 2015-  Fri. May 30, 2015 @ Jarvis Center in New York

Authors, are you dreaming of Going to BookExpo America?

You'll want to read this!

Okay, so by now you know I share news about marketing efforts for Authors. - Why? I do this because I know first hand how hard it can be to get noticed. With that written, I am going to share with you another opportunity.

This opportunity comes in increments of 10. - Meaning if you are the 11th and final author to respond, you will not be able to participate but if you are the 11th out 20 authors to respond, you made the cut! - Get ready.

My friend is Carol Rogers and she is a book distributor. - She also sponsors spaces at various book fairs and events in New York throughout the year.

If any of you have looked at the price of going it alone to the Book Expo America 2015 - You know the following:

a. Spots are going fast.

b. It will cost you between,-1,200 to 2,500 USD not including lodging and food or the extras offered.

c. Anybody who is anyone in the industry usually attends this at least one.

d. It is possible to make a deal that will launch your career to a new level.

e. Hotels are booking fast for this event. I called two weeks ago and one hotel only had two rooms left.

Bottom line: Carol is sponsoring spaces that will rotate at her table. She is looking for 10 authors or 20 authors or 30 authors (you get the picture) who want the VIP package. The cost will be between $550 and $650. - That's more than 50% off you trying to do this alone.  - $300 is due by September 20, 2014. She will let you know the details.

Interested? - Contact Carol at or for more info.

Guess what? - I am taking the 1st slot. - Do I have 9 more authors that will join me?

Urban Fiction Novel Available For Review

The Truth About Lies
Author: Travis D. Boothe
Publisher: Xlibris
ISBN: 978-1493149506
Published: December 2013
Pages: 206
Genre: Gay, Drama, African American

Very common, especially in the African-American community, is the possibility of a father having several children, which his primary family knows nothing of. This secret life potentially creates problems of incest when these children reach maturity and ignorantly engage in sexual activity with one another. This taboo topic is more common than one would think, and so far, only one writer has been brave enough to tackle it.

Love and Darvin have been friends long before either boy could walk. Living together in the slums of Murfreesboro, North Carolina, the two boys have shared everything for as long as they could remember, including the secret of their budding romance. However, the secrets that the adults in their respectful families may be hiding from them may be enough to break the boys’ bond forever.
