On Goodreads? I need your help with a Utah Authors list!

Hey everybody!

Now that the blogger social is over (so much fun!) I'm now looking ahead to the project which I announced there.  It is definitely in the pre-planning stages but in a nutshell, what we will be doing is taking an entire month and creating a fantastic event which Utah book bloggers will be highlighting Utah authors and their books!  This will likely happen in November.  Right now, what needs to happen is that we need to identify a list of Utah authors and their books (I've been looking at more mainstream market here as opposed to LDS market - I'm not purposely omitting them but that list is understandably HUGE and I simply can not take that on). 

I have created a Goodreads list.  This is great because anybody with a Goodreads account can add books to the list.  It's very collaborative that way.  However, there is a 100 book limit for each user and I hit my limit within 5 minutes of creating the list.  I have dozens of more authors that need to be added to the list.  If you are on Goodreads, will you please take the time to add any books by Utah authors that you think should not be overlooked?  Whether these be picture book, MG, YA, adult or non-fiction.  I am hoping to have a rather complete list within the next couple of weeks so we can move on to other planning stages of this event.

I went in and added Mette Ivie Harrison's books, as well as Barbara Richardson, Sheralyn Pratt's, and John Brown. I didn't get any picture books added though. Anyway, I reached my 100 pretty fast as well! I hope this helps. For now, I can't think of any other Utah authors but will stop back if I do.

Okay, I added 82. I did some of the LDS-specific authors, mostly because that's who I know. I didn't add all of Jennie Hansen's, because I didn't have enough votes left, lol. Same on Rachel Ann Nunes.... didn't add any of hers because she has a bazillion books.

Anyway, that's where I ran out of ideas.... if there are any you want added, let me know. I've got, what? 18 spots left, I guess.

I saw your goodreads list last night, before seeing this message this morning. I added a few books and "voted" for some of my favorites that were already on the list. I'll work some more on this today or tomorrow ...

I've added J. Scott Savage, David Farland/Dave Wolverton, Anette Lyon, Cory Poulson, Berin Stephens, Stephen Gashler... and I think that's it at this point.
