Utah Book Bloggers Summer Social - Save the Date!

I am woefully behind on scheduling the summer social! To tell you the truth, if I had been planning better I would have liked to have it in June. But as it is, I'm tentatively scheduling the summer social for Saturday, August 15th. August 22nd. I'd like to do an early potluck dinner in the park open to families. About 4 or 5-ish.

Throwing this out there - does this date sound okay with everybody?

I haven't decided yet. Most likely Draper or Lehi area. I want to find a nice park that is near the point of the mountain so Utah County and Salt Lake County bloggers can kind of meet in the middle.

There's a really great park in SJ off of 106th S and I-15. (Behind where Gecko's is, across the street from mulligans).

Anyway, not as far south but it's a great location. Pretty convenient.

Oh, I was so hoping to come...however, we will be in the Czech Republic until the 18th (I know, you all feel really sorry for me). Darn!

Maybe, I don't know the date my oldest needs to check in at Utah State. I'll find out in a couple of weeks.

I hope we can join in this time. The date sounds good. I'm not sure if we'll have caved in and bought a car by then anyway, but if not, we'll be extra likely to come if we can get their by bus or train.
