Just completed my first NaNoWriMo with 54,656 words in 30 days for my first draft. I've previously only written picture book stories, so taking on the challenge of an adult sized book was something new for me. Drop by TheWriteChris.blogspot.com to read about the experience of mine and others. If you've also done NaNo, I would love to hear your thoughts as well!

lol J.C...

writer1129.blogspot.com is an URL, or close enough anyhow.

URL stands for Uniform Resource Locator and it's an address "type indicator" plus a domain name or IP address.

the first part's "http" or "ftp" or "telnet" or "gopher" or "https" or what-have-you, it lets software know what the protocol is (url type)

the second part (after the "://") tells the computer where to go to find the address.

I have no idea how to post a URL or even more than a mils suspicion what it is so anyone who wants to read my challenge response can go to my blog at writer1129.blogspot.com and read "Why Do You Write"

A link to mine is in the "Challenge 1" thread.

Unfortunately I'm not eligible for the Grand Prize of Absolutely Nothing (which is the perfect award for the man who has everything, but at least I've got Nothing to complain about now).

The "why I write my blog" is a good start I reckon Darryl, sure it's a long away from "write 50 000 words on the meaning of life" but I reckon you'll get a lot more honesty from your one!

have you done yours yet?

I'll get back with one soon.

Kit

Hey we need a new challenge.

I think the "Why I write" thing might be less inspiring than I'd hoped.

Any suggestions?
