A writer faces the challenges and pitfalls that plague the fantasy genre in an effort to finally create that original magic novel. See the reviews and how the writer met their end at http://theofficebooks.blogspot.com/

If your tired of living your mundane life and are brave enough to enter a darker more dangerous world than click on the "like" link on the top left corner at http://theofficebooks.blogspot.com/ or look up Books from the Office on Facebook. Think carefully before you do because once you step into our world there is no stepping back out!

I was actually rendered speechless when I finished this book and I pretty sure agent Sterling fainted. See what happened at http://theofficebooks.blogspot.com/

The Last Apprentice is back with a beatdown on evil even Chuck Norris could be proud of. Check it out at http://theofficebooks.blogspot.com/…

The office has been quiet recently... a little too quiet! See what happened and how Agent Sterling and I barely escaped with our lives at http://theofficebooks.blogspot.com/…

My Wolf’s Bane (Shapes of Autumn, book one)
My review: Fantastic! Oh, I loved this book! As soon as I saw the trailer a couple weeks ago, I knew I had to read it. I was not disappointed. I loved all the little twists and turns, the world Veronica Blade built and I loved the hero/heroine as well as the supporting characters. I adored Autumn. She was sweet but strong. She loves Zack, but she doesn’t want to compromise. And Zack… ooh-la-la! He might just be my all-time #1 Book Boyfriend. He’s the perfect guy — not gonna put up with crap from anyone, but he’ll do anything for his girl. Yum. If you love a good romance, this is your book!

First Drop of Crimson by Jeaniene Frost
First Drop of Crimson is a stand alone spin-off novel from Jeaniene Frost’s Night Huntress series. Set in the Night Huntress World the novel shares characters and background from the Night Huntress novels but instead of following the heroic and romantic adventures of long-running series protagonists, Cat and Bones, the story is a stand alone paranormal romance with new central characters.
The first characters from the Night Huntress World to get a little love in their lives are Spade and Denise. Readers familiar with the Night Huntress books will remember that Denise was recently widowed in a zombie attack and that Spade is a master vampire who occasionally helps out the forces of good, on behalf of his friend Bones. Readers unfamiliar with the Night Huntress books need not worry, First Drop of Crimson is a stand alone story and all the background is explained (without an overwhelming information dump) as the story unfolds.
The Night Huntress series books are part of the urban fantasy romance genre. This genre is best described as strong female protagonist and exciting fantasy action plots with an equally strong romance element – unlike most urban fantasy books where the heroine usually has to suffer a chaotic love life in addition to being responsible for saving the world from monsters. As a reader who likes reading romance but prefers their romances to have an edge Jeaniene Frost has been one of my favourite authors for some time. (Be it fantasy action, mystery or humor – the type of edge doesn’t matter as long as it has one!) Great book!

Right now The Orb of Truth is on sale on Amazon for $2.99 and is a great book. Even my son (12y) is reading it and loves it. There is also an event going on, on Facebook for this book if you would like to check it out and win some awesome stuff. The Orb of Truth Event on Facebook

Maureen Summerglass is eighty-two years old, a prisoner in her ramshackle home. She is afraid to let people enter in case they discover the oak door in her cellar.
