Comment by Kayla and Cyna 1 hour ago Come, join us at Papercuts Podcast, where we talk shit about terrible movies and have audio disasters while interviewing incredibly forgiving authors. This month, we bring you a review of Stephenie Meyer's The Host movie, and an interview with author Zoraida Cordova about her new book, The Savage Blue. Mermaids, yo!

Family Ties
Stories told by word of mouth can get twisted or lost. Abby grew up hearing about her great-grandmother Emma, a royal who left that life to come to America. Yet when Abby takes a summer job with her best friend Cory, she feels eyes on her. When she is kidnapped after leaving work, Abby learns there may be a hidden part of her family tree...

Glenn Langohr spent 10 years in prison battling addiction before becoming an author. He met his soon to be sobriety sponsor Phil Doran and One Step at a Time: My Walk Through the 12 Steps is the memoir that follows.
A comprehensive look into how each of the steps can transform compulsive, addictive behavior into a healthy and happy destiny.

INK BY AMANDA SUN
PAPER GODS VOL 1
A wonderful change of scenery with a dive into the manners, tales and legends of Japan that suddenly are awaken to light.
Refreshing, exciting and poetic, this book blew me away.
I liked the supernatural scenes, the fighting ones against the ink, as much as the real fights in Shizuoka's streets and parcs.
A beautiful novel that won me over.

SOMEONE ELSE'S FAIRYTALE BY EMILY MAH TIPPETTS
A movie star who falls in love with an everyday lady. Nothing new under the sun since this scenario has often been used. Yet, the story is easy to read. Nothing to brag about but I had a good time while following the characters.
