You're very welcome, Alice. I've checked out your blog and am now a follower. If you wish to do the same for me, you will find all kinds of links on the irregular therapy blog. And yes, our work is radically different, but variety is what makes the world fun, don't you think?
Have a great day!

You're welcome. Thanks so much for the nice words on my blog. I was so excited to start a blog, but once it was up felt like you, ...ok now what.... LOL! Once I figured out what I wanted to do with it and what my goal was for the blog, the rest just kind of came to me. I was told by many others to make sure I was passionate about what I was blogging about or I would lose interest and my blog would "die". Being that my greatest love besides family is reading I decided that was the perfect thing to do. I figured, why not share my reviews and feel like it matters that I read? :-) I have only been blogging since December of last year, but I have learned SO much already. I like your site by the way! I entered to follow by email. :-) Good luck and even though I am newer, if you have any questions I can try to help you out. I feel like I am testing the waters sometimes with how I learn how to make stuff work on my blog. LOL.

You’re welcome, Alice :) Thank you for the kind words about my blog. Even though I’ve been blogging for a year and a half, my blog is still a work in progress and probably always will be. It started off as a place where I could document my struggle trying to break into the writing world. Then in Jan. of 2011 we found out my husband had cancer and it turned into a place where I could vent about what we were going through and hopefully help others who were going through the same thing. By summer, he had gone through twenty rounds of chemo and we found out the cancer was gone. At the end of July, I found out that my second manuscript was going to be published through an independent publisher. After it was published in Oct, I started promoting my murder mystery, Snow Escape, and I decided to use my blog to help other writers. I review novels occasionally, but my niche is reviewing short stories. That’s what it’s about. Doing something unusual that keeps your followers coming back for more. I still talk about my struggles trying to get recognition, but I don’t make it all about me. I want people to relate to me, but to know that I’m interested in other writer’s work as well. I’ve subscribed to your blog. It looks like you’re building a strong foundation. My advice would be to write what interests you and definitely utilize this site. Join the groups that will help you promote your books and your blog. The forums are also an excellent place to post links. Good luck with all your writing endeavors!!

Hi! Welcome to Book Blogs—if you are in the oftentimes horrific proposal / query letter process and are hunting for that elusive agent OR… if you have decided to go the ebook way…then join me at The Agent Challenge. After all, the proposal process isn’t just for agents. A proposal is your marketing strategy! Also, I’m giving away the 2012 big book of agents or a book from one of our mentors. Drawing from followers at the end of February!
