The modern day story of Gordon Mackenzie which is the second portion of Cast the First Stone, took me some effort to construct.
I envisioned Gordon completely sick of the life and events he had to deal with while working at a French Investment Bank. About the time Wall Street was melting down and certain establishments were deemed too big to fail, Gordon was also disillusioned with the methods and means used by his previous employer General Bank of…

The second portion of my new novel Cast the First Stone has my character Captain Henry Murdoch sent off to China in the name of the British Empire to the brewing troubles of the Boxer Rebellion during the summer of 1900.
In writing this portion of the plot, it was clear to me that the rising chaos within the dynastic corruption of the Empress Dowager Cixi in then Peking 1900 and the encroaching influences of the western European nations were right in line…

In writing my most recent novel, I found it to be much easier the second time out and in some respects much harder than the first. I always wanted to go back and tell the story of the character Reverend Henry Murdoch from my first book. I had little or no room to deal with him in the first novel although his character and stern behavior fascinated me. I knew he was a victim of circumstance and clearly under the sway of some very powerful men at a time when Victorian might was…

My name is Jay Siva, the founder of EZBuyButton.com, an easy 'buy book' widget for authors. I'm contacting you today because I think you and your readers would love to know about the EZBuyButton widget I've created.
It is the most advanced 'buy now' widget for selling books. I make it free for authors and publishers, worldwide, to quickly and easily create and use our EZBuyButton widget to place on their website or blog to immediately increase the sales of their books, especially if their books are listed for sale in more than one retail store. I made it super easy, with just a few clicks they just copy & paste a piece of code onto their website/blog, and they're done.
The widget allows website visitors to select which device they'd like to use to read the author's book, and then select their preferred retail store that they'd like to purchase the book from. It also geolocates the visitor's location and will send the visitor to the correct country specific retail store so that they can buy the author's book. The widget is also fully customizable, and the author will have access to detailed real-time statistics of the use of their widget.
I would like to invite you to visit my website, and try out the EZBuyButton widget. I hope you find that my widget will be useful to you and your readers, including all the authors, literary agents, and publishers you're in contact with.
My website is http://www.ezbuybutton.com.
If you have any questions, I'd be happy to answer them for you. Thank you for your time.
kindest regards,
Jay Siva

Hi!
Welcome to Book Blogs! I'm Kate, a young adult author. My debut novel Taste has just been released by Crescent Moon Press last April 30, 2012.
At Barinkoff Academy, there's only one rule: no students on campus after curfew. Phoenix McKay soon finds out why when she is left behind at sunset. A group calling themselves night students threaten to taste her flesh until she is saved by a mysterious, alluring boy. With his pale skin, dark eyes, and mesmerizing voice, Demitri is both irresistible and impenetrable. He warns her to stay away from his dangerous world of flesh eaters. Unfortunately, the gorgeous and playful Luka has other plans.
When Phoenix is caught between her physical and her emotional attraction, she becomes the keeper of a deadly secret that will rock the foundations of an ancient civilization living beneath Barinkoff Academy. Phoenix doesn’t realize until it is too late that the closer she gets to both Demitri and Luka the more she is plunging them all into a centuries old feud.
