- Anita Nahal, Ph.D., is a Global Diversity Consultant and has been involved in teaching, administration, writing, publishing, and mentoring for more than thirty years. Her experiences include; Assistant Provost for International Programs, Howard University, Washington D.C.; Associate Professor of History, Sri Venkateswara College, University of Delhi, India; Visiting Associate Professor of History and Fulbright Scholar-in Residence, State University of New York at Binghamton, New York and Adjunct Professor, George Mason and Howard universities. She is also the Founder & Chairperson, www.diversitydiscover.com. Nahal has three books and over 30 articles published in journals and newspapers and over 25 Paper Presentations in conferences in the US and abroad. Dr. Nahal also has creative books published, including one book of poems, Initiations, and three books of nursery rhymes and short stories. Nahal is actively involved in the Arlington community. She is the chair of the University Relations Committee and co-vice president (membership), Arlington County Chapter, American Association for University Women (AAUW). Nahal previously served as the vice chair on the County’s Commission on the Status Of Women and also served on the Arlington County's Multicultural Commission, the Arlington School Superintendent’s Elimination of the Achievement Gap Committee, and the Budget Advisory Council to the Arlington School Board.
