About Me:: Since 2002 I have been a small business coach and continuesto work with owners around the U.S. to successfully manage their businesses. As the granddaughter of Thomas J. C. Martyn, the founder of Newsweek magazine, I have publishing in my blood. I wrote four novels as a child, along with poetry, and have always especially enjoyed working with artists and writers. After helping several writers independently publish their books, I realized there was a strong need for this service and launched Purple Plum Press. I specialize in helping those of us over age 50 get their writing out into the world, but work with authors of all ages and backgrounds.

On a personal note, I was raised in New England, and have lived in Switzerland, the Midwest, the Southeast, as well as Colorado. I am an avid hiker in the Smokies, the Rockies and beyond, a lover of all kinds of art (painting, sculpture, music), an alternative healing fan, and constant reader. She love working with clients, playing piano, and enjoying time with my partner, two step-daughters, two dogs and three cats.

The widget is also fully customizable, and the author will have access to detailed real-time statistics of the use of their widget.
