- About Me:
- My biggest claim to fame is as the author of “iceberg tea,” a humorous collection of stories about life in the far north of Canada. When I’m not busy being famous, I live with my husband and my dog in an off-grid cabin in the boreal forest at Prelude Lake which is just outside of Yellowknife, Northwest Territories, Canada. Here I enjoy my northern friends, looking at the fantastic Aurora Borealis, reading by the woodstove and sailing in the four months of the year when there is no ice on the lake. For money, I am the executive director of NorthWords NWT, a writing festival in Yellowknife. For my heart, I am at work on my first novel which I expect will be published in the next year or two.
