I think my photography will be getting a shot in the arm. It has been so difficult to get myself involved in my photography in any way lately. I received a call from the A. E. Backus Gallery in Fort Pierce, FL today and they want me to show my work in the Holiday exhibit... November 25th - January 2nd. Some times I think we go through life... just looking at the surface of events, feelings and even people. We don't put out the effort to go deeper, to learn more about a person or event. "I don't have the time!" is our excuse. That person may have been the one with the opportunity… Continue

This crazy world makes it hard to become focused. I do not see how young mothers can manage to do so with young children. I had a friend who would lock herself in the bedroom... with her children at the door, despite saying.. this is my time!!

I know I mentioned mysteries, but in a complete contrast... I love philosophical books, by spiritual writers. I have read most of Thomas Merton, some Henri Nouwen. Later in life I read books by Eknath Easwaran, Nancy Wilson Ross, Dalai Lama, Thich Nhat Hanh. I read about finding Peace in a troubled world. It all has helped me find peace within. There were more, individual authors here and there.
