- About Me:
- At age 60, I climbed Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest mountain, along with my son. We raised some money to help out the children in Africa and I was so moved by the entire experience that I have continued raising money to complete the classroom and well at a primary and preschool respectively. In February 2011, my wife and I visited the sites of the completed projects. The joy on the faces of the children, teachers and school administrators brought chills.
I have written a book about my journey from the couch to a mountaintop and beyond and the satisfaction a regular person can achieve by helping themselves and others. The book is entitled, "Kilimanjaro and Beyond - A Life-changing Journey" and will be available this summer.

Well, after hearing a lot of constructive critique from friends who have read it as well as a second editing I believe the book is greatly improved and it now has a new title.
