What seems true on the surface may be just an illusion. Nihlen Draven, First Prince and heir to the throne of the nation of Draven, has lived with undeniable truths his entire life. In an instant though, all those truths are shattered. After being kidnapped, and his kingdom subjugated by the neighboring nation of Rinh, Nihlen's life begins to spiral out of control. Every day becomes a battle for survival, even escape is nearly impossible. Searching for the answers he desperately needs may be pushing the limit.
In other lands, other changes are also taking place. For generations, people from one continent to another have thrived in an age of peace. Plans have been set into motion however, both by the hand of man, and fate itself, causing this peaceful age to come to an end. Each desires something different, but whether those moving the pieces know it or not, they all have one thing in common. Prince Nihlen, and a land that has become all but legend.
This legendary land is known as Askrah, and its secrets are slowly enveloping the world, threatening the safety and lives of people from every land. The history of this empire has touched every nation, in ways that have now been long forgotten. When something is forgotten though, it does not disappear, but waits only to be discovered once more. The Eye of Kings, a strange power that links Nihlen to the lost history of this once mighty empire, is only the beginning of the secrets hidden across the world. This power is the key to the end of one age, and the only chance for salvation in the next.
The forces moving across the world, and the ever increasing burden of destiny will push Nihlen to his limits. Without help, Nihlen may fall to the blade of any one of his growing list of enemies. There are those sympathetic to his cause though, and their help will be paramount to his success. War is rising off the horizon, and there is no way of knowing how long there is to prepare. Any one of the forces vying for supremacy may win out before Nihlen can even stand against them. The adventure is only beginning, and the prelude that ushers in the unknown now echoes across the world.

I’d like to share a couple of awesome opportunities with you. First, Novel Publicity is currently recruiting bloggers for a gigantic holiday book bash. The prizes are insane and include $3,500 in cash, 3 Kindle Fires, 35 autographed books, and free eBooks for any participants who would like them. Sign-up and info is HERE
The other super cool thing I’d like to share with you is news of the ReaderShip. This is a great site for book lovers, because every single week there is a free book available for download. Georgina Morales said… Hi there, welcome to Book Blogs!
I’m new myself to the site but so far I've found it a great place to meet other blogger friends, so you’ve definitely come to the right place if you want to network with other book lovers and writers. If you’re a fan of paranormal fiction, please give my debut novel Perpetual Night a look. I’m planning to do a giveaway in the near future GoodReads (Click here for my Author Page). And here’s the link to my blog Diary of a Writer in Progress where I talk about my own experiences becoming a published author and review some books for fellow writers. I'll be happy to follow your blog if you follow mine!
Now tell me about you, your blog, and favorite books!
Gina

Hi Benjamin,
Book Blogs is by far one of the best sites I've come across on the internet. Especially as a writer trying to promote your work and learn about new books, connect with other writers, what better place then someone else's blog. I write two Blogs - The Choice of Giving and Illusions. Don't hesitate to email me, my contact information is on both blogs, right at the top.
