I just signed a new book contract!!

I am thrilled to announce that after my agent, Sandra Bond, spent over a year and a half diligently trying to sell my new mystery series to various publishers in this disastrous economy, she has finally succeeded in finding a home for it at Midnight Ink Books ( http://midnightinkbooks.com/ ), the mystery imprint of Llewellyn Worldwide ( http://www.llewellyn.com/ ). We were getting feedback like "the concept for this series is fabulous and I thoroughly enjoyed reading the manuscript" followed by… Continue

A Fun and Successful Book Launch Party

Many thanks to all my local friends who came to support me during my book launch party yesterday afternoon at the Barnes & Noble bookstore across from Chapel Hills Mall in Colorado Springs. I had a steady stream of customers, but I was able to chat for awhile with each one, which is just about perfect. Now, I hope you're all enjoying reading about Claire's wild ride in To Hell in a Handbasket!

I had a blue theme to match the book cover, with blue paper goods, blue frosted cookies, and white… Continue

Hi Beth,

It's easy for me to get lost. My name on Goodreads is "Leola." I prefer Tea, but that's alright.:)

Hello, Colorado neighbor!

All the best with the "new deal". The concept is indeed excellent and the title phrases have been in my less offensive expletive vocabulary for years. Congrats!

Beth,
Congratulations on your book contract.
I am not a member of the PPW- yet! I need to stop procrastinating and just do it.

I would be honored to meet you face to face sometime soon. I realize you are probably very busy.

Hi Beth! I'm sorry I've taken so long in responding back to your message. I'm still trying to get the hang of this BookBlog. I used to live in Colorado Springs, for nine years! Loved it, but don't miss the winters much!

I am doing a cozy mystery week over at my blog, http://sharonsgardenofbookreviews.blogspot.com, and I have had to drop a book - so I have an opening I need to fill. Would you be interested in me reviewing your books for this? I'm doing this from September 3 to the 10th, so I could rearrange what I have scheduled and put you in later in the week. Just let me know! My email address is sharonc76308@Yahoo.com!
