Don Walters said… Thanks for the welcome to Book Blogs, Aleja. I've checked your Facebook page, and I wish you great success as author and success in your new life. Many years ago in San Francisco I was a member of Synanon, which had an 84% recovery rate for dope fiends & alcoholics. The Synanon premise was not faith-based; rather, it developed strength of character and self-reliance, which won't work if you're hooked on drugs, as you know, but which works extremely well when you clean up and joined a community of supportive folks who are same-minded in their goals.
Best wishes,
Don
