Booknut 101: a self-proclaimed bookworm of the highest degree

Profile Information

Favorite Book
Not even a question - is this serious? How could a true bookworm choose?!
About Me:
BookNut is a bookworm of the highest degree and is OCD about books. Loves her bookshelf, her computer, her friends and her followers. Is Team Jace, Finnick and Peeta - not Gale 'cause it rhymes with fail (LOL). Loves anything to do with the fantasy world, would love to live in it and is open to any author requests for book reviews.

When not sitting glued to her computer screen, she is prone to fervent book obsessing sessions, daydreaming and has a bit of a personality crisis. Spends days reading, writing random short stories or watching Austen movies for the hundredth time (Note to non-believers: Pride and Prejudice IS totally based in reality. Deal with it.)

Hopes to one day publish one of her many (unfinished) stories, but in the meantime is happily munching away on Snickers bars waiting for fae to come knocking at her front door.

You can find her on Goodreads, Blogger and BookBlogs

INHERITANCE BOOK REVIEW - RELATIVELY SPOILER FREE at My blog

November 29, 2011 from 6pm to 7pm
Inheritance - A Quick Relatively Spoiler-Free ReviewI'm content. I could get abducted by Fae tomorrow (hopefully Ash - that would make it much more worthwhile!) and have lived fully, having finished the last book of the Inheritance series by Christopher Paolini. It was...magical (yeah, no pun intended) and fulfilled my high expectations. It may have been a little sad (no sprinklers, but…See More

Vampire Books: The Section Formerly Known as Young Adult

I'm aware that most people (unless they're living under a rock, in a lake by Camelot or who just don't read *gasp*) know about the 'vampire craze' that has gripped the World of Literature and the shelves of bookstores worldwide. There's Twilight, there's Vampire Diaries and Vampire Academy and...well heaps more (you all get the picture). But what I want to know is YOUR opinion. Do you all think this is a good thing…See More

Hello again Booknut

I wanted to tell you that your follower section has finally found me worthy of becoming a follower :) On another note, I agree with Emlyn and Matthew, the background and/or your selection of font color isn't allowing the viewers to have a nice view of your lovely blog, you have to scroll up and down the pretty book picture to be able to see the words that get lost in all the white.

Sincerely

Bere

Otherwise, looks fantastic!

Hello Booknut 101,
Welcome to Book Blogs, I have forged many friendships here with avid readers and prolific writers. We help each other out and have a great time while we do so. Let me know if there is anything I can help you with.
Archway to Acknowledgement is a group that can increase your following on twitter if you are interested in that. I have joined many groups that fit the topics I write about and that can help me market my debut novel and prepare me for the one I will release next spring. If you get a chance please check out http://www.TheBridgeofDeaths.com a Paranormal, Historical Romance. I hope you enjoy Book Blogs as much as I have,
Catalina

Pleased to meet you BookNut :)

Fantasy isn't my thing particularly, but I've just stopped by your blog to have a look. You've certainly hit the ground ruinning! Can I make a comment though? The white on your background makes it difficult/impossible to read the text that sits over it. Might be worth looking at, or maybe my eyes aren't worth a dime ;)

Do stop by Bibliofreak.net anytime. It's always lovely to meet fellow bloggers and share bookish opinions with them.
