Hi Booklovers!  I am SO EXCITED to have found this site.  My name is Brittany.  I am a children's author from Cecil, Arkansas.  My debut book was published in Feburary, 2010 by Stragetic/Eloquent Books.  The title, "I Sit In A Wheelchair....But I Will Be Okay" is about a five year old girl named Penny Brown.  She goes to Kindergarten in a wheelchair.  Howrver, she becomes angry that she cannot slide down the big slide, walk, or run like other kids can.  Her parents and best friend Amy help…See More

About Me:
Hi friends! I am a children's book author who has published "I Sit In A Wheelchair...But I Will Be Okay" This is a preschool book for ages 3 and up who shows children it is okay to work play, and interact with anyone who is different than they are.

I also love to read books, and believe that reading and writing go hand in hand. Some of my favorite authors include Jane Austin, Louisa may Alcott, Mary Higgins Clark and Sue Grafton, but I love books in general.
