Favorite Book: Fall of Giants

About Me:: I am an ex- Stage and Television actor, director, producerand script writer who retired from the Entertainment Industry about ten years ago when my wife suffered a severe stroke which left her paralyzed down the left side, leaving me as her sole carer. We found it difficult to adjust to the new restrictive life of course but having been a part of the Industry for almost my entire working life, I felt an inner need to continue expressing myself creatively and turned to writing novels. My first effort, The Grumpy Old Withered of Oz, was an autobiography, a rude, irreverant, humourous and I am told, touching look at the last ten years of my life, inviting readers into the mind of the ageing irrascibleZzzzzzz generation. After a period of dissatisfaction with the Publishing Industry, (like what's new?) I turned to CreateSpace/ Amazon POD publishing and Smashwords.com for Ebook distribution which I found much more satisfying. I have since written and published 4 other fictional novels , the comedic, The Twilight Escort Agency, about an escort agency for the more 'mature'' client, a paranormal novel, The Tourist From the Light, the whimsical comedy, Code Name: Millicent, about a Cat Intelligence Agent (CIA) sent to Nimbin to investigate the growing drug trade and The Burning Boy, a crime/action/adventure about a People Smuggling racket of the post Vietnam War priod of the 70's, all of which have received good reader response if not a heap of royalties.
