I'm a mother of eight, wife of 25 years, grandma of three, non-profit coordinator and a new author - in whatever order the day dictates. My life is busy but I have always been an avid reader and writer. I wrote non-fiction for news and magazines and served as an editor for years. I've written my first novel, something I have wanted to do since I was seven years old. The Glen was born of my love of the woods and my passion for religious studies. I had a great deal of fun weaving a pre-apocolyptic mystery into the tale and I am halfway through the second book, Back to the Glen.
I am new at blogging, new at chatting and forums and hope to learn a lot from everyone here.
Hi, I came across your blog, and I thought you would be the perfect person to contact.
My name is Jay Siva, the founder of EZBuyButton.com, an easy 'buy book' widget for authors. I'm contacting you today because I think you and your readers would love to know about the EZBuyButton widget I've created.
It is the most advanced 'buy now' widget for selling books. I make it free for authors and publishers, worldwide, to quickly and easily create and use our EZBuyButton widget to place on their website or blog to immediately increase the sales of their books, especially if their books are listed for sale in more than one retail store. I made it super easy, with just a few clicks they just copy & paste a piece of code onto their website/blog, and they're done.
The widget allows website visitors to select which device they'd like to use to read the author's book, and then select their preferred retail store that they'd like to purchase the book from. It also geolocates the visitor's location and will send the visitor to the correct country specific retail store so that they can buy the author's book. The widget is also fully customizable, and the author will have access to detailed real-time statistics of the use of their widget.
I would like to invite you to visit my website, and try out the EZBuyButton widget. I hope you find that my widget will be useful to you and your readers, including all the authors, literary agents, and publishers you're in contact with.
We are looking for authors and readers alike to help make our Pinterest Competition happen!
All what you would have to do is send us a picture with the book you have written, the book you are reading, or your favourite book near a landmark or a known place and send it to firstname.lastname@example.org with ‘Pinterest Competition’ as the subject. We will then pin this to our Pinterest board http://pinterest.com/unclebook/books-around-the-world/.
This should be really fun and a great way for you to get your book seen in a unique way!

Hi Carla, Thanks for following my blog, 365 Books A Year. I can't add any more blogs to my RSS feed. Google says I'm at my limit. I tried to add your blog by email, but the button in the bottom right of your page says this after I input my email address:

I'll try again later, but could you check to see if it's configured right? If it's on your side, let me know when it's up and running so I can add you.
