Lessons learned in a life - Pain
Pain.
You can see it etched upon the grim countenances of runners, Iron-man athletes and the like. They have pushed their bodies beyond all reason, beyond all limits and it shows upon their faces as exhausted exuberance and excruciating pain as they collapse at the finish line in battered heaps.

Thoughts on Happiness
Happiness.
I see it all the time on TV and hear about it on the radio. Everyone knows how to make us happy. It’s right there in the commercials.
You can see it in magazines. Beautiful people in even more beautiful locals, doing what beautiful people do. They have big smiles on their faces, a gleam in their eyes. But is happiness really hidden on that beach with a cooler full of Bud-lite, is it really to be found there when they put the key in the ignition and drive that shiny new BMW or Merced… Continue

Dirty Little Angels
Set in the slums of New Orleans, among clusters of crack houses and abandoned buildings, Dirty Little Angels is the story of sixteen year old Hailey Trosclair. When her prayers go unanswered, Hailey puts her faith in Moses Watkins, a failed preacher and ex-con. Fascinated by Moses's lopsided view of religion, Hailey, and her brother Cyrus, begin spending time down at an abandoned bank that Moses plans to convert into a drive-through church.
