Waiting the Army Way: Lessons for Business, Faith and Life on Patience

He that can have Patience, can have what he will.

Benjamin Franklin
How do we pace and position ourselves to wait?
My time in the Army taught me a bit about this. Their infamous “hurry up and wait” mantra proved to be an enduring life lesson for me when I later became an entrepreneur and author.  See the story below entitled, "Waiting Wall", excerpted from my book, Navigating Life’s Roadways: Stories…

Thank-You Deborah Parker for your friendship. It is an honor to have you as a friend. I will have to experience your great contribution to the world. It is an inspiration! Yes, we all have an Unfolding Journey to embark upon if we try.  Alot of people wonder how I could have the courage to tell the world all that I have overcome also. I believe that we all have a story that should be told. For many years I tried to conceal and hide the events of my past, but then one day I heard a voice telling me to tell all, and heal my wounds. I know that there is someone who can be helped and inspired by our stories, we just have to have the courage to put it out there. We have more in common than you think:) May God continue to get all of the credit and glory out of my life story. Never be ashamed of your journey, and may God Always Bless! https://www.createspace.com/3694258 .

Hi! Welcome to Book Blogs—if you are in the oftentimes horrific proposal / query letter process and are hunting for that elusive agent OR… if you have decided to go the ebook way…then join me at The Agent Challenge. After all, the proposal process isn’t just for agents. A proposal is your marketing strategy! Also, I’m giving away the 2012 big book of agents or a book from one of our mentors. Drawing from followers at the end of February!
