- About Me:
- I'm a writer and ex-journalist. My sixth novel, The Lantern, will be published in 2011. It's set in Provence in the South of France, and it's about a bookish young woman, Eve, who falls in love with an older man. When Dom remains secretive and evasive about his past and ex-wife, she imagines parallels with Daphne du Maurier's Rebecca. As the idyllic summer turns to autumn, their surroundings grow more mysterious and frightening. It's also about perfume, and blindness and the unquiet life of old houses.
I've recently started a blog to provide background material. Each post is relevant to the novel in a tiny way:

Waiting until August to post is fine. I look forward to it!!!!
But, I also wonder if you could still write something now: what I mean is, you mentioned on your blog about how you have all of those beautiful country side photos posted, in order to build readers interest and familiarity with your books physical surroundings, no?
Might you expound upon (or re-post?) this marketing method to my readers? I could even take some of your pictures, put them on my site and link them to other pictures on your site, so readers can see ALL of your photos - and get a gist of what you're intending.
Just a thought...let me know what you think....
