Each Monday, I post delightful updates about what I’ve read in the previous week. I try to read a range of genres, but my tastes lean toward creative nonfiction, quirky popular fiction, and contemporary poetry. I also love clever and well-illustrated children’s books.
When I’m not searching out good books, I enjoy being with my family and exploring the great outdoors. I’m a fan of dark chocolate. And if I could be an animal other than a human, I’d be a sea otter. Wouldn’t that be fun?

Hello and welcome! It's hard to believe, but I've been on here almost a year, but when I first started I found it immensely comforting and helpful to get a few hellos, so thought I'd share a few. :) There's a lot going on around here - some of it confusing, some daunting, but mostly all helpful. If I can ever help, let me know!

Hope to see you - and am happy to check out your site if you send a link!
