Is your ROI on giveaways satisfying to you?

In another discussion it was mentioned that if you get a free copy of a book in a giveaway you are "obligated" to write a review. Now, I've done this, twice on Librarything. Each time I gave 75+ ebook copies of short story collections. This was four months ago. In that time I have had less than ten reviews - combined - posted. So, here's my qualm. I sign up for a book giveaway. I'm supposed to read and write a review. Not a problem. But what if you really don't like the book? What if you - this is really about me, so "I" - see a lot of issues with the book. Logically, I think, it seems, that I should write a review with all that in it and rate accordingly. The back cover blurb

So, I have a book, and it's done. I'm going to self-publish. Definitely I'll do the ebook. Be fool if I didn't. But I like physical books, so I'm going to do POD for that through createspace.com. I've got a cover and spine and back. But I'm missing that blurb that goes on the back.
