About Me:
I am a high strung, crazy energetic and passionate about life person! I have had my nose stuck in a book since as far back as I can remember. My grandmother has Alzheimer's yet never forgets to remind me of this fact. I love the worlds of the character's lives I enter and how their story can create turmoil within me to the point that I will stay up until 3am to finish what their end actually is. The satisfaction I get from closing a book and those few moments where there is just silence and reflection from what I just witnessed through the writer's eyes; it's magic. I am a writer myself and hope to one day leave people feeling that exact same way after closing one of my hopeful books. I have a beautifil 6-year-old son....and he is learning to read this year in kindergarten. He loves it....and it makes me incredibly happy to know that.

Hi! Welcome to Book Blogs—if you are in the oftentimes horrific proposal / query letter process and are hunting for that elusive agent OR… if you have decided to go the ebook way…then join me at The Agent Challenge. After all, the proposal process isn’t just for agents. A proposal is your marketing strategy! Also, I’m giving away the 2012 big book of agents or a book from one of our mentors. Drawing from followers at the end of February!

You're welcome, Elisse :) Thank you for following my blog and for the kind words. I just changed my blog last week. I wanted a cleaner more professional look. I like your blog's layout and the fact it's colorful but not overwhelming. I'm now following you. I agree with you that some blogs just have too much going on. The only advice I have is to keep doing what you're doing, because it looks really good to me. Good luck with it!!

I've only been blogging since last fall, so the only advice I can give is make friends in the blogosphere, stay current on your posts, and if you like what you see on someone else's blog, put it on your own (with your own personal touch, of course.) I've seen and tried several things on my blog. Some bloggers do lots of meme's, some do lots of giveaways, and then there's book tours, author interviews, blog hops.... the list goes on. But don't get overwhelmed, just do what you like and what you've got time for. Try out new stuff, but if it's not for you, don't worry about it. Just have fun!

You're welcome for the welcome, Elisse! I'm currently looking for bloggers who would do a cover reveal for Taste, my YA novel out from Crescent Moon Press. Would you be interested?
