+JMJ+ Since the main reason I blog is to find online friends to discuss books with, I'm always frustrated when I find an interesting blogger, leave lots of chatty comments on her blog, and then never…Continue

+JMJ+ Several times--on this forum and on book blogs--I've read people counseling bloggers to ask another blogger's permission before linking to his post, even if you're linking to it because you…Continue

+JMJ+ Very recently, I read a discussion post by a blogger who was wondering why her reviews get the least amount of comments on her book blog and a tweet by another who had observed the same and…Continue

Locus Focus @ Shredded Cheddar

Every Saturday, I write a post about a setting I really connected with in my reading. It's a great way to write about books that "work" without actually turning out a review. Everyone is free to link up a post! =)
I usually dedicate one Saturday a month to a theme challenge. If you check the link, you'll see the schedule.

Silsbee said… Hi, Enbrethiliel. :)
I'm new to Book Blogs (less than a week), but I've already enjoyed reading so many of your thoughtful posts on the forums. Some great discussion has come out of them. I do agree with you that it's disheartening that more than a few bloggers seem to be in this for the follow count, and not the interaction. At any rate, I look forward to reading more of your thoughts as I settle in. :)
