Might need some help here and there (if your willing) and if I ever get off my lazy butt I do have a children's book I would like to see published. But don't know who, where, how, etc., to do it. Thanks again Erica.

Hi Erica,

Thanks for commenting on my profile. I'm brand new to this medium as I've spent most of my time growing on Facebook and Twitter. I'm spending time now reaching out into areas where I don't have to worry about some corporate giant controlling the reach of my voice. Glad to make your acquaintance!

Thank you so much for welcoming me. I'm very interested in reading your blogs and gleaning much from the information you state you provide. As a new published author I'm struggling to get my book exposure, which is a great pity because it has been receiving great reviews, earned me a nominations for awards as well as being featured in a couple of Christian Magazine. Will check out your stuff

Thanks for the welcome email, Erica. I'm the Convention Director for SF:SE2015, Orlando's Speculative Fiction convention. Check us out at www.sfse2015.com--our typical attendees will be authors seeking publication, so would benefit from this sort of mentoring.

Thank you for your interest and welcome, Erica. Briefly, I have published two novels via createspace - An American Pope and The Wild Horses of Hiroshima - that are, I believe, highly polished works of literary fiction. My understanding of how best to promote one's efforts is to start well before the actual publications. As it happens, I have published first and am looking for readers second. This is why I am here while being perfectly willing to contribute as I can with other writers' similar efforts. Also I don't pretend to have any true understanding of how to go about this part of the process. In other words I am feeling my way. The abiding hope is that somehow I shall draw people through some witticism or literary wisdom to see what I am more about and to read what I have written. It will either prove to be something they wish to share with others or it will not. As you can see, I am very much at the starting point when it comes to having readers determine the value of my work.
