I'm frustrated. I've been trying so hard to pass the 100 hits mark on a news post day and I always fail. I want to keep my readers coming back but it's just so hard. :( I've tried so many…Continue

I had author Jeanette Windle over at my blog for a guest blog post. The guest blog post in a follow-up to my review of The DMZ by Jeanette. Her publisher is mailing a copy of The DMZ to one blog reader. US/Canada only. Comment on my Sugarpeach blog post to enter the contest for this wonderfully entertaining adult… Continue Posted on April 19, 2011 at 1:50am

Moissanite Jewel said… Not personally because my provider is Bravenet and they are very good at holding all my stats. However there are several plugins for site data.

If you name it, wordpress probably has a plugin somewhere for it.
Moissanite Jewel said… Yeah, that should work, the plugin says it's good up to 3.1.4 and it's 3.3.1. (Usually plugins that say 2. don't work but 3. 's do.) I find most plugins work even when they don't place that. Also since you are going to .org, Akismet might be a charging thing since your blog 'advertises or promotes' books. $5 a month. There are some great wordpress plugins though that so far work for me instead. I use a combination of Block Spam by Math Reloaded and for the braver offenders I use IP Filter. These are free plugins.
Hope that helps.
Moissanite Jewel said… I have moved around wordpress.com to .org to blogger to .com. I've done about everything, including building websites back in the early 2000's.:) What is it you would like to know?
Moving is fairly easy, if it hasn't changed much. In fact, it's better if you don't move and just backup your files. (tools-export) Go to your domain and upload wordpress 3.3.1 (or whichever the latest version is). After you have your site up and running, go to tools-import. Look for your backup and upload it. Voila, you should have all your posts and comments. If anything messes up, no worries, you have time to figure it out since you didn't mess up your site yet. If you need anything else, (like how to insert redirection) just contact me back.:)
Jana said… Thanks for saying such a nice thing about my blog! I'm glad to hear it. :) I understand you can't tell me, so no worries! Negative reviews are hard to write, but you get better doing it constructively with time. I've written a fair share of negative reviews (my blog is brand new, but I've been blogging elsewhere for a year and a half). I'll be sure to go and check out your blog soon, as I'm about to shut off the computer and go to sleep!

Wise Words Publishing said… Hi Evangeline and thank you for responding!!! Did you take a look at the info on the book? What we're doing is publishing one chapter per month, and then when the 18 chapters have been pubbed in eBook, we're going to publish the entire book in eBook and hard copy form. Is that okay with you?

Nelson Souzza said… Hello dear Evangeline!
He is considered the most innovative of the Brazilian modernists. Besides having been a precursor of the Tropicália movement and of the "marginal poetry" of the 70s, de Andrade wrote three major manifestos: the Pau-Brasil Poetry Manifesto (1924), Pau Brasil (1925) and the Anthropophagic Manifesto (1928). He also introduced Brazilian literature to experimental prose with Memórias Sentimentais de João Miramar (1924).Visit me plase: http://nelsonsouzza.blogspot.com/2011/07/memorias-sentimentais-de-joao-miramar.html
Thanks! Have a nice day!
